Transformers- Gadget that "transforms"

I’m sure everyone watched or is familiar with the movie “Transformers”. In that film, it features robots who can disguise themselves by transforming into everyday machinery.

For the gadget that I’m sharing today would be something related to “Transformers” and it is disguising itself into something small and something that we are using every day.

Still guessing hard? Yes, if you are still wondering what the gadget is, you are probably not imaginative enough. Some “Transformers” fans in Japan created their desired “Transformers” robots into something that is useful and creative.

For the collectors of “Transformers”, you all will need to add in one more items into your collections. Besides collecting action figures, posters and key-chains of “Transformers”, it will be a thumb-drive for this time round!! The “Transformers” thumb-drive is based on a robot in “Transformers 2” named Ravage. The sad thing is, there are only limited robots that are featured in this “Transformers” thumb-drive series.

Moving on, the specifications of the thumb-drive include a storage capacity of 2/4/8GB with a read speed of 8MB/sec and a write speed of 7MB/sec. The write speed of 7MB/sec is considered to be average, a typical fast thumb-drive claim to read up to 30MB/sec and write at about half of that.

A thumb-drive that can actually “transform”, even though it may lose out in the performance wise, I’m sure it will still be a successful invention. More information can be found here.

Are these available in S'pore?

I am sure that most of the internet stores selling collectible items would have these. They should also be available in some collector's stores in Singapore.
